Ferry Changes Announced for 2023
Important Information for Visitors
Brownsea Island is a beautiful and popular destination, but it's important to plan your visit carefully to avoid any disappointment. We're announcing some changes to our ferry services for 2023, so please take note of the following information:
16 March - 24 May inclusive
If we need to close the island due to the forecast, a decision to do so will be made at 7am on the day of your visit. We will post updates on our website and social media channels, so please check before you travel.
For all enquiries including bookings:
- 15 people only required to book on cruises.
- And day trips.
- Coach parties, groups, weddings:

Parking
Parking spaces at Shell Bay are not guaranteed as it can be very busy. Head to the planning your visit section on the website for further information where you'll find ferry articles with pricing information and timetables for the Sandbanks Ferry.
Ferry Timetable
Ferry leaves Sandbanks/Poole side on the hour, twenty past and twenty to the hour. First Ferry 7am, last Ferry 11pm.
